Castle is my favorite boy. And he knows it. From puppyhood I enjoyed watching him move and grow. I was planning this combination for 2 years and was very stubborn to import chilled semen and do it at the vet who never did it but I considered she should learn it. And second try, we got litter with Eliška and my "Eliškić" Castle was born.
Everybody knows me as very critical person on dogs, especially mine, but I can say this boy is the best boy I bred so far. Not photogenic at all, his quality was recognized very soon as on his first 11 shows he never lost a class. Between 1st April and 18 June 2022 he was shown on 5 Specialties for Retrievers and he won 1 BISS Puppy and 3 JBISS' judged by breed specialists in 4 different countries. The last show he lost by his pal Dream, who went on to won JBISS.
Summer stop for him and he lost almost all of his coat, but even naked he won 7 JCACs, 7 JBOBs, 2 BOBs, 1 BOS, 1 BOG3 and 1 BOG4 at his Balkan tour and at the age of 1 year become International Junior Champion. Back to last Croatian specialty he repeated the success he had in June and won JBISS and RBISS again finishing his Croatian junior champion tittle in style.
In 2023 we welcomed his first litter where we could not decide which girl to keep so we kept 2.
His first show was in Manchester where he won strong junior class of 15 males. 2 weeks after he injured his front left leg while running like crazy and had bone fissure. It healed but as he had restrictive movement he lost his muscletone and was not fit as usual for Crufts. He was back to tip top shape for Denmark where he won strong intermedia class at Retriever Specialty connected to Euro Dog Show 2023.
Rest of 2023 he spent by opening adult championships - Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, earning his Studbook number which qualified him for Crufts for life, finishing his Croatian tittle in style by winning 3 BOBs and 2 BOS out of 5 shows he was shown in Croatia, RBISS and BISS at Specialty shows and finally Best of Group at the biggest International show in Croatia - Zagreb winter classic.
2024 he started by winning 4x Best adult male, 2x BOB, RBOG and BOG3 in Croatia, opening his Hungarian championship at Golden & Flat specialty by winning strong open class. We are delighted with first health scores of his progeny and we are sure many more will come!
